Miguel chatted on about life, linguistics & languages as we leaned on the wall of F.A.C.E. that had become my favorite people watching location. You could sit for hours just watching people and see their clothes, actions and mannerisms as they strolled by. Today, I gained a new perception of this hallway and how it can be used.
As we sat talking I caught a glimpse of here from down the hallway and didn't assume anything until I glanced up at her and realized she was glaring back at me. Then as she moved closer I realized her intentions were not heinous but initiative. I knew she wanted something else as a brief smile skirted across her face and then it happened. It caught me off guard at first until I realized what it was. Her left arm began lifting from her side and four fingers began to bend leaving one stranded in a pointed posture. It moved slowly until it was aimed directly at my face as her feet glided her past my chosen seat at the wall. Still dumbfounded I was shown the light when she made a brief comment to her friend and the giggles reached my ears as they both strolled off towards the other end of the hallway.
"She's Nuts!" Miguel assured me as I was still caught in a fog of uncertainty. "What had just happened?" I wondered to myself continually.
Well, good luck next time with that approach Ms. Finger-Pointer. . . . but you can be assured I'll know how to resist you next time and if anything; Strike Back!
