I was talking with my friend Pippo today and he explained a word to me that caught my attention. 'Jalar' is used in the context of having to always pull someone to do something. For example, if my brother never wants to go hiking I will have to 'Jalar' him to make him go. So, there's your context . . . . .
Initiation is an interesting thought. I have come to realize that this is something that is often found few and far between with most people that we interact with on a daily basis. Yet, the funny thing is that everyone wants to receive the initiation of someone else. It sure reminds me of Jesus' wise words, "If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit."
I am beginning to think that I really enjoy initiating with others. The more I do it the more I see people open up and truly live as they want to and are designed to. Crazy, all it takes is often a simple question, or a simple thought, or a simple compliment to someone else and we become something truly amazing. . .
